1838GR - Subtly Distressed Black and Grey Wood Frame
This is real wood with a rubbed stained finish. We use this a lot when framing watercolours. It adds just a spark of "nice frame" without overwhelming the artwork. It is neutral in colour, and the rubbed finish adds a nice subtle gradation in tone. It basically stays out of the way of artwork, but the fine level of detail makes sure there is a level of complexity on the frame no matter which angle you view it from. The matboard pictured is W572-Chalk white.

Outside Dimensions: Add the width to every side to determine the overall size. For example, the 8"x10" frame measures 11 1/4 "x 13 1/4" on the outside.
Customize Your Matboard
With a large variety of matboard options, choosing the perfect matboard for your picture or artwork is easy. Our most popular options are Chalk White (W572) which has a flat subtle off-white look and pairs well with everything, and White Linen (W1550), which has a subtle woven fabric texture and a flat white finish.
Easy to Install
With pre-drilled screw holes and pre-made hanging wires for both vertical and horizontal orientations, its easy to hang up your new frame. All you need to install the hanging wire is a screwdriver! Each frame also comes with an included wall hook for easy hanging.
